The UK Clinical Research Agenda

At a think-tank meeting on Clinical Academic Careers held in June 2010 and jointly hosted by the Academy and the UK CRF Network, delegates discussed issues pertaining to clinical research nurse employment, training and careers. The following position paper was produced by Helen Pidd and members of the UK Clinical Research Nurse Consortium.

The paper outlines the need for a more coordinated and strategic approach that will maximise the nursing, midwifery and health visiting contribution to improving the health and wealth of the nation through research.
